When you use OrganicCopy, we collect information necessary to provide and improve our AI text humanization service:

• Account Information: Email address, name, and account credentials when you create an account
• Usage Data: Text you submit for humanization, AI detection scores, and humanization mode preferences
• Payment Information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers
• Analytics and Cookies: Website usage patterns, page views, and technical information (browser type, device type, IP address) to improve service performance

We use collected information to:

• Provide and improve the AI text humanization service, including processing your text through our detection and rewriting pipeline
• Process subscription payments and manage billing through our payment provider, Stripe
• Send service communications, including account notifications, usage updates, and important service changes
• Detect abuse, enforce rate limits, and maintain platform security
• Analyze usage patterns to improve detection accuracy and humanization quality

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our service:

• Text Content: Text you submit for humanization is processed in real-time through our AI pipeline and is not stored permanently on our servers. We may temporarily cache processed text for performance optimization (typically less than 24 hours)
• Account Data: Your account information (email, name, preferences) is retained while your account remains active
• Usage History: We retain aggregated usage statistics (word count, API calls) for billing and service analytics
• Data Deletion: You can request account deletion at any time by contacting support@organiccopy.ai. Upon deletion, we remove all personal data within 30 days

OrganicCopy integrates with third-party services to provide functionality. Each service has its own privacy policy:

• Stripe: Payment processing and subscription management. Stripe handles all payment card data securely. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Firebase: User authentication and account management. See Firebase's privacy policy.
• Anthropic Claude API: AI text processing and humanization. Your text is sent to Claude's API for processing. See Anthropic's privacy policy.

We use cookies to provide essential functionality and improve your experience:

• Essential Cookies: Required for authentication, session management, and core service functionality. These cannot be disabled.
• Analytics Cookies: Optional cookies that help us understand how users interact with OrganicCopy. You can opt out through your browser settings.

• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information in your account settings
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• Encryption: All data transmitted to and from OrganicCopy is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
• Authentication: Secure authentication via Firebase with support for strong passwords and OAuth providers
• Password Storage: Passwords are never stored in plain text. Firebase handles secure password hashing.
• Access Controls: Internal access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only

While we take reasonable precautions, no internet service is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

OrganicCopy is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@organiccopy.ai so we can delete it.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via:

• Email notification to your registered email address
• Prominent notice on the OrganicCopy website or dashboard
